Michael Karo
Since the age of 6, Michael has always found much pleasure in his work in the plastic arts (Painting, sculpture, ceramics and relief). Until 1988, although he was employed in fulltime industrial management he continued to engage in his artistic creative work.

In 1988 he established the Karo Arts arts restoration and conservation enterprise which he directs till today, specializing in conservation (preventive) treatment and restorative treatment of art works which are at risk of deterioration or damaged; principally two-dimensional works: easel paintings on canvas and on boards, original works on paper, and reproductions employing various techniques.

Michael believes that he has the duty to share the unique knowledge he has acquired over the years in this skilled professional work with others, and that it is important to raise awareness concerning the correct way to handle and take care of works of art, he has therefore created a series of lectures concerning these issues. The lectures are delivered in various settings, mainly in the Shorashim (Roots) College, and other private venues.
